King Bee Smart Hive

King Bee Smart Hives are made by an amish company in Indiana and are going on their tenth year of making this hive.  You can order it from King Bee, Rockville IN and pick up if desired. Shipping by us is included in the above price.

This Smart Hive eliminates having to stack and unstack the 50 to 70 lb hive bodies and supers which you'll occasionally need to do with a standard vertical hive.  It comes standard with a stand so that the top of the hive is at a convenient working level, as well as putting the hive well out of reach of skunks.  It includes 26 frames, a feeder, entrance reducer and observation window! The roof is hinged so it's easy to open and close for inspections.  The roof is covered with copper colored aluminum to keep your bees dry for many years.
