$10 doesn't buy much anymore, but it will buy you extra protection for your hive this winter. This is a wooden spacer that also serves as an upper entrance and exit and upper ventilation. This is especially useful in Northern climates where hives experience winter condensation. We have a video on our website demonstrating how to install the spacer and upper entrance along with the winter wrap. The wrap is 15 lb roofing paper cut to fit around your hive with extra to overlap. The upper spacer also can be used below a candy board as well. If a snow drifts piles up around your hive your bees can still take their cleansing flight by exiting out of the top.
