Come join us October 4-5, 2014 for our Basic Beekeeping class! This class opens with our Friday night dinner buffet at 6pm on Friday and then workshop continues until 9 p.m. This is a two day beginning beekeeping course and continues on Saturday from 9 a.m. - Noon. This class will benefit those interested in keeping bees, as well as those who have been keeping bees for a couple years. We have designed this two day beekeeping course to cover topics on basic beekeeping: bee anatomy & biology, installation and inspection techniques, seasonal management, integrated pest management, registration/zoning & insurance, and honey extraction. David is an EAS certified Master Beekeeper, so this course is well worth your time. Register now to reserve your seat! We have a limited registration so register as soon as you can to reserve your spot! It will take place at our classroom building at our honey bee farm. Get a few friends to come along with you! Also, why not save shipping cost and purchase all your hive equipment on this day? This course is team taught by David & Sheri and you'll have a great day learning about beekeeping. Don't let distance keep you away. We've had people from California to New Jersey, Louisiana to Canada. We are only a little over 1 hour from the Indianapolis International airport.
