Honey-B-Healthy is a wonderful new feed stimulant for honey bees made of essential oils such as limeongrass oil and spearment oil. Many people use it in a spray bottle instead of a smoker. It is also used on new plastic foundation to help encouarge the bees to draw comb on plastic frames. A small 16 ounce bottle goes a long way. You simply add 1 teaspoon to one quart of 1:1 sugar water. As a spray, use 4 teaspoons per quart. It is great when introducing a new queen too.These essential oils have long been considered good for bees. Many claim that these essential oils seem to stimulate the immune system of the honey bee.
