5 Frame Nuc Candy Boards With Candy
Many beekeepers are now overwintering 5 frame nucs. This candy board comes with candy already on the board. Lay it on the top above the bees, candy side down to help overwinter your nucs. We also have these for 10 frame regular hive bodies. It is under "feeders" in our store. The picture is for a 10 frame, but the 5 frames is the same only half as wide.

Winter Candy Boards
Candy boards have been used for years to help colonies that are low on honey stores to survive the winter. Our winter candy boards come complete with candy on the board, ready to place on the hive, candy side down toward the bees. Place it just above the winter cluster of bees. Check it every two weeks. It will last longer the more food stores the bees have in the comb.
