About Long Lane Honey Bee Farms

Thanks for your interest in Long Lane Honey Bee Farms. We are beekeepers who enjoy beekeeping so much, we just had to start our own beekeeping business! We are a family owned business and believe that as a family business we can give you the personal touch you need to become a successful beekeeper. We started keeping in 1994 and began building equipment in 2005. We live down a long lane, thus the name, Long Lane Honey Bee Farms.

We have become well known for our BASIC BEEKEEPING lessons. We've introduce thousands of new beekeepers through our thorough, yet simple to understand beekeeping lessons available online FREE!

Our goal is to provide the best beekeeping materials possible at an affordable price. We manufacture all hive components and have shipped to all 50 states. When you purchase from us, not only does it allow us to live out our dream of making a living from our bees, but it allows us to continue to work hard at helping more and more people become beekeepers. We need more backyard beekeepers to help save the honey bee.

David is Master Beekeeper of the Eastern Apicultural Society of North America.

Beginning beekeepers call us from around the country asking for advice and opinions. It is such a joy for us to see more and more people become involved as beekeepers!

We offer beekeeping classes here at our location almost every month, from basic beekeeping classes, queen rearing courses all the wall to advance courses in beekeeping. We want to get to know you better, to become a friend and mentor to help you enjoy keeping bees.

We sell package bees, nucs, and raise and sell our own production queens. We also manufacture all beekeeping equipment and we'd love to have you as a new customer.
